Day 1
Arrival in Florence.
Check-in at hotel 3* situated in the city centre.
Time at leisure or optional tours.

Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning guided tour of the enchanting streets and squares of the historical centre and a panoramic view of Florence. Drive you up the romantic Viale dei Colli to Piazzale Michelangelo: there we stop to admire the breathtaking view of the city, one of the most beautiful in the world. The tour continues by coach down into the centre of the oldest part of the town. Proceeding on a guided visit on foot of the Santa Maria del Fiore or Duomo complex: the Baptistery with its gilded bronze doors including the famous Doors of Paradise and a walk around the exterior of the Cathedral with the magnificent Brunelleschi Dome and Giotto's Belfry with its fascinating marble statues and reliefs. A short walk through the historical streets of the heart of Florence takes one past stately, rusticated stone Palazzo Medici Riccardi, where young Michelangelo lived as a guest of Lorenzo the Magnificent, to the renowned Gallery of the Accademia* where one can admire the famous David by Michelangelo and other works by the great artist. The guided tour ends inside the museum.
Afternoon at leisure or OPTIONAL tour to Pisa. cross the fertile and picturesque Tuscany countryside to reach Pisa, famous for its Renaissance architecture with its wonderful marble architectures. Guided tour of Piazza dei Miracoli: See the Baptistery (exterior), the Cathedral (visit inside) which inspired the rest of Pisa’s Romanesque style of architecture, and see the famous Leaning tower.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning optional tours.

*ATTENTION! The Academy Gallery is closed on Mondays and replaced with a visit to the:
- Bargello National Museum (one of the most prestigious Museums of Sculptures in the world) on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday of the month;
- Medici Chapels (Mausoleum of the Medici Family with one of the most famous sculptural cycles by Michelangelo) on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month.

Additional information

During the visits we would recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes and to wear sunglasses and sun hats in the summer months to avoid any risk of sunstroke. We remind you that entrance into churches requires appropriate attire (no shorts, miniskirts or uncovered shoulders).
